Jimmer Fredette will soon be leaving Sacramento, but where will he and his wife Whitney be going? Pretty strong rumors have been suggesting that this young couple will be heading for Chicago where Jimmer might be playing for the Bulls.
Jimmer and Whitney met when he was a sophomore and she a freshman at Brigham Young University. Jimmer was a star basketball player, and she was a cheerleader. While in his senior year at college, he won every major National Player of the Year honor and was the top scorer in all of NCAA Division I.
Jimmer and Whitney seem to have a real love story going on. They became engaged in May of 2011, and got married on June 1, 2012, right after her graduation from BYU where she earned a degree in broadcast journalism. Jimmer, who was born James Taft Fredette in Glenn Falls, New York is very close to his family, as is Whitney, who hails from Littleton, Colorado.
After graduating from college, in 2011, Jimmer went to play for the Sacramento Kings. They are now in the process of completing a contract buyout, and there is serious mutual interest between Jimmer and the Chicago franchise. He cannot sign with anyone before clearing waivers Saturday at 5:00 pm ET.
This cute Mormon couple should be happy wherever they end up, they are best friends who just enjoy being together.
